Jimmy Kimmel Creates ‘Air Buds’ Ad For Doggie Cannabis Strains
As late night continues to poke fun at CBS’s decision not to run a medical cannabis ad during the Super Bowl, Jimmy Kimmel Live found a new take on it — advertising “Air Buds,” a cannabis product for dogs.
The fake ad shows a pack of bone-shaped joints, and list a number of new, cleverly-named strains to support it, including, “Scooby-Doobie,” “420 Dalmatians,” “Bob Marley and Me” and “Who Smoked The Dogs Out?” among others.
You know what? They might be kidding, but personally, we’d love to see a greater celebration of the many benefits that medical cannabis products can provide for pets suffering from painful or uncomfortable conditions.
Unfortunately, it’s not likely that we’ll see that before we see cannabis ads for human products. So, in the meantime, this will have to do:
