Martha Stewart Enters The World of CBD, Will Deliver Keynote at World Cannabis Congress
Martha Stewart is known for putting out household products that help with all things cooking, cleaning and gardening. But now she’s putting her name on a surprising new line of products: CBD.
Stewart is partnering with the Canadian cannabis company Canopy Growth to put out a line of CBD products. The products will help improve the health of not only humans but animals as well. In fact, the first product they’re working on is aimed towards pets, not humans. The company is still undergoing clinical trials on the products, and Stewart will advise them along the way.
Shortly after this announcement was made, Stewart confirmed that she would be delivering the keynote address at the 2nd annual World Cannabis Congress in Saint John, NB. Presented by Civilized, the World Cannabis Congress is renowned for convening major influencers, thought leaders, policy makers and government officials to help shape and advance the cannabis industry worldwide. Stewart’s participation comes at a time when interest in CBD and cannabis-infused food is higher than ever, with Canada set to legalize edibles later this year.
“I am delighted to establish this partnership with Canopy Growth and share with them the knowledge I have gained after years of experience in the subject of living,” Stewart said in a statement. “I’m especially looking forward to our first collaboration together, which will offer sensible products for people’s beloved pets.”
Canopy is hoping that the partnership with Stewart will not only lend legitimacy to their brands, but CBD products in general.
